Our January meeting will be both in-person and on Zoom. Followed by a free Boro Workshop for in-person attendees led by Susan Sato.

Boro Workshop students will learn how to layer old and new fabrics on to a background to create an organic Boro base and use Sashiko stitches to anchor it all together. Scrap fabrics work best, even fabric with holes! Nothing is wasted. This workshop is for all in-person attendees. It will all be done by hand, no sewing machines needed. It’s easy, no rules, and you can use all of those scraps!
