Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this quilt show shine. Everything lined up to make this a fabulous day — the weather was perfect, attendance broke records, and the quilts looked amazing ! Our free show was displayed on the fence surrounding Holy Name of Jesus Church in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn.
The 50 quilts were made by members of the Brooklyn Quilters Guild. The quilts were 36” x 36” and inspired by the challenge theme of “Going Green”. They ranged from modern, traditional, arty, to playful— reflecting the rich diversity of styles and interpretations of the artists that made them.
Thank you to Larry Sapadin for his ongoing support and photography.
