The Stories We Tell:
Folklore, Fantasy, and Folly
Member Fence Show Registration Page
The Quilt Challenge Requirements:
Open to all members of the Brooklyn Quilters Guild.
Quilts should interpret or be inspired by the challenge theme: “The Stories We Tell: Folklore, Fantasy, and Folly”
Quilt Size: 36” x 36” square.
Members are allowed to submit up to two quilts for the show.
Include a quilt label with your name and the quilt name on the back of the quilt.
Registration deadline is Saturday, August 31, 2024. Please note: Quilts do not have to be complete at this time. It is OK to submit a photo of the unfinished quilt. We use these photos to layout the show.
The quilts will be collected at the September 21 guild meeting. If you will not be at the meeting, you may drop your quilt off BEFORE that date by making an arrangement with Susannah or Margaret. No late entries will be accepted unless a special arrangement is made in advance.
Submitting a quilt in the show requires each quilt maker to work one shift per quilt submitted at the quilt fence show. If you will not be able to work for any reason, you may find a member who will cover for you. Work shifts include tasks such as cleaning the fence, white gloving, publicity, setting up the quilts, taking down quilts and returning the quilts at the close of the show.
